Who doesn't love a phone call at 3am?
It's almost 3am and I am trying to get a hold of someone at the Embassy in Kinshasa (because it's morning there). I called about 10 minutes ago, but the operator said that no one in the visa department was answering.
So I am going to wait and try again. I pray that I can speak with someone who may be able to help.

My heart is in knots just reading this. When we tried to adopt a little boy when we moved back from South Africa, I remember clearing driving to my parent's house (35 minutes away) because we couldn't make international phone calls from our house to make phone calls to South Africa in the middle of the night. Mamas will do whatever it takes for their babies.
