Weekend Wears

So, this weekend was pretty uneventful.  The reason being Baxter's was sick the entire time.  On Friday he had a 101.9 degree fever.  We stayed home, only venturing to grandma and grandpa's that night to celebrate birthdays.  Since I was stuck indoors all day, and Michigan for some reason thinks it's October, I dressed warm and comfy.

Saturday wasn't much different, except Baxter was worse.  We were planning on attending a relative's wedding reception, but instead, I spent the afternoon at urgent care.  Baxter's temp was over 104, so we were a little worried about pneumonia or an ear infection.  Thankfully, neither were the case.  Just a cold.

We took this photos while Baxter took his massive 4 hour nap.  Atty was up and wanted to join the fun.   He is such a cutie-pie.  And a bit of a momma's boy, which I love :)

Sunday Baxter was feeling a bit better, but still didn't act like himself.  For dinner, we had family over to our house so he could sleep as much as he wanted.  And after bed, we had a bunch of friends over the watch the game.  I'm not a big basketball fan (I don't mind watching it), but having family and friends over was a lot of fun.

This morning was the first time since Thursday that Baxter actually got up and played.  He spent 90% of his time last weekend either sleeping or snuggling on the couch.  It's so nice to have him back to almost normal.  I missed his energetic, constantly on the go, exploring personality.  Thankfully, so far, none of us have caught the bug.  Here's hoping is doesn't sneak up on us this week.

Jules, don't worry. I wouldn't cute it all off, just enough the minimize it's appeal to young climbers ;)
