Weekend Wears

This weekend we spent a lot of time downtown, viewing art at Artprize.  The weather was practically perfect, so we walked from our house each time.  I absolutely love where we live, right outside of downtown, so it's only a 15 minute walk.

On Friday, Eric and I took the boys downtown and looked at all the art that is outdoors.  The boys didn't last very long after their bedtime, so we headed home after an hour and a half.  Once the boys were in bed, Eric and I curled up and watched some of our favorite shows.

On Saturday, Eric's parents picked up the boys before lunch so we had the entire day to ourselves.  We spent the afternoon getting projects done around the house, and then headed downtown for more Artprize and dinner.  We intended to go see a movie but ended up watching one at home and getting a lot of extra sleep.

On Sunday we slept in and took our time getting ready in the morning.  We had dinner at Eric's parent's, where we picked the boys up from their sleepover.  That evening we split our time between a going away party and movie night.  The going away party was at a bowling alley, which was a first for the boys.  I think the carpet was one of their favorite things.

Even though we spent several hours at Artprize there is still a lot more to see, so it's likely that our free time over the next week or so will be spent taking walks downtown.  I don't mind one bit though, any excuse to get outside and take a walk is fine by me.
